Yes, I tried back in November 2012 to do this "verification" process with Pinterest for my Blogger blog and it wouldn't work for me at all. I even tried it again this week and it still would not work for me no matter how bad I wanted it to. So, I went to the internet again to see if I could find the answer and I finally found it. Here is the video from Bonnie Frank on YouTube which I have embedded for viewing if you are interested in getting that little "red and white check" beside your Blogger URL on Pinterest.
I hope this helps some of you out who have been trying as much as I have to get your Blogger blog verified. Let me know if it worked out as easily for you as it did for me.
REMINDER: On the part where she says to use "control f" if you use "Windows" but on a Mac you will need to use "command f" to find the <head> tag. Let me know if it worked for you and that you are happy to finally have your Blogger blog verified by Pinterest.

Thanks. When I tried it, I received an error tag about my meta tag not having a closing tab.
